NURSING SUPERVISOR (D. Dan and Betty Kahn Pavilion: Level 9 - Surgical, Vascular, Telemetry Unit)

| The D. Dan and Betty Kahn Health Care Pavilion is a 12-story hospital that will house 264 private rooms capable of converting to intensive care; a state-of-the-art neurosciences center; and high-level, specialty care services for cardiovascular and thoracic patients, along with advanced imaging. The 690,000-square-foot hospital which also features 20 surgical and three interventional radiology suites is being constructed adjacent to the Frankel Cardiovascular Center, with plans for bridge and tunnel connections to existing inpatient care facilities. The anticipated opening of the new D. Dan and Betty Kahn Health Care Pavilion is fall 2025. The D. The nursing supervisor will provide professional nursing leadership and administrative direction for nursing practice within the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Health Care Pavilion, Level 9, General Care, Surgical, Vascular, Telemetry Unit. Participate as an active member of the leadership team focusing on daily staffing, scheduling as well as operational needs. Additionally, the nursing supervisor will play an active role in recruitment efforts, hiring, continuous quality improvement, safety, customer service, education, and research. To participate as a member of the leadership team to provide and continually improve health care services and to support the mission and goals of the health system. To ensure the quality of nursing services provided to patients. The ideal candidate will be firm yet personable, a strong leader, with the ability to set high standards and hold people accountable for meeting unit performance and patient care standards. They will have process an improvement background and demonstrated ability as a change agent. Prior experience in nursing leadership is preferred. Pavilion 9 is a 48-bed general care, telemetry, surgical and vascular unit with all private rooms. The unit promotes a family-centered approach, providing education and resources to patients. Nursing care includes patients requiring general care, telemetry, surgical care, titratable drips, arterial lines, and cardiac monitoring.

Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
