Available Title(s): 1440-YN_ADMINPRO - Student Services Manager Business Title: Director, VCEA Internships & Career Services Employee Type: Admin. Professional Position Details: The Opportunity: As the Director of VCEA Internships & Career Services you will provide leadership, management, and overall administration. You serve as a resource for campus partners, such as the Academic Success and Career Center (ASCC), that provides services to students as they identify and pursue their career goals. In this role you will serve as a resource for industry and faculty who hire, seek to hire, or require assistance in recognizing the value of hiring VCEA students. As the director you advise faculty, department staff, current and prospective students about the value of degree-related experiential learning opportunities and how to secure such opportunities (whether locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally). Some responsibilities include reviewing student files, making referrals, and creating special programming or services to enhance student success and persistence to completion within the program. In this position you will, also provide assistance with college-wide advising program as it relates to career, internships, and co-op opportunities, assisting with retention initiatives, including orientations and related activities, and serves on committees. Additional Information: This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime-eligible. Monthly Salary: $4,508.70 - $6,750 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
