Nursing Director - Acute Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant Inpatient

| UVA Health, home to an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, research, and education, is seeking an experienced and dynamic nursing director to lead our Acute Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant inpatient units. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of patients and families facing some of the most complex cancer diagnoses while guiding a highly skilled nursing team in one of the nation’s top academic medical centers. Position Overview The nursing director provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical excellence for the Acute Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant inpatient services. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compassionate care; fostering collaboration across interdisciplinary teams; and advancing best practices that align with UVA Health’s mission of transforming health and inspiring hope.
