FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Bronx Community College is seeking to hire Adjunct Faculty with the ability to teach courses including Fundamentals of Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking and Critical Listening, Intercultural Communication, Introduction to Film, World Cinema, Introduction to Mass Communication, Introduction to Theatre, Voice & Diction, and others.

Day, evening, Saturday, and Sunday teaching likely to be required.

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

For Adjunct Assistant Professor:

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.

For Adjunct Lecturer:

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully. Master's degree preferred in area of expertise.

Preferred for all titles is the ability to teach successfully and prior college teaching experience.

COMPENSATION

Adjunct Lecturer: $100.41 - $107.79 per hour

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $109.54 - $116.56 per hour
