![]() Service & Repair Mechanic (Motor Equipment) Position Information Position Title: Service & Repair Mechanic (Motor Equipment) Department: Campus Operations Posting Link: https://www.ubjobs.buffalo.edu/postings/59900 Job Type: Full-Time Posting Detail Information Position Summary The University at Buffalo is currently seeking a Service & Repair Mechanic (Motor Equipment) within the Campus Operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical work within the fleet maintenance shop in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of gasoline, diesel-powered, and alternative fuel self-propelled and non-self-propelled motor-driven equipment. May perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on disabled vehicles, construction, and other equipment in the field. In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. May transport materials and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across campus utilizing provided tools. Must be able to perform medium to heavy physical tasks, including frequent work in various weather conditions. Salary Range $50,425 Special Instructions Summary Applicants will be required to provide their drivers license information and create a Clearinghouse account to enable participation in the License Event Notification Service (LENS) and Clearinghouse for Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
