Asset Management Analyst (AM-6997)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Client is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support its growing portfolio of grocery-anchored shopping centers across the Southeast. This position provides hands-on analytical support to the Asset Management team in a variety of areas such as property performance tracking, lease analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting.

The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate or early-career professional (0–2 years of experience) who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the fundamentals of commercial real estate asset management.  This position is fully in-office 5 days per week.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain detailed financial models, using Excel and Argus, to track property performance against underwriting.
• Analyze new lease opportunities and assist in lease negotiations.
• Assist with underwriting and diligencing of new acquisitions, as needed.
• Assist with refinance and disposition activities on existing properties, including communicating with lenders/brokers and running waterfall analyses to assist in decision making.
• Lead annual property budget process.
• Assist CFO with portfolio management and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (internship or full-time) in commercial real estate, finance, or accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and communication skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• ARGUS experience a plus, but not required.
