| The Department of Art & Design seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) who will also serve as the program coordinator for the MAT in Art Ed a new online collaborative program offering certification to teach K-12 Art. Our MAT will be run collaboratively between the Departments of Art & Design and Teacher Education. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise, maintaining scholarly productivity, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels. RESPONSIBILITIES Teaching the Art Education portion of the curriculum as well as general education and/or art courses according to their area of expertise. The coordinator position will have a 4/4 teaching load, and receive one course reduction per semester for MAT coordinator duties including student mentoring, recruitment, curriculum management, and community engagement. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining scholarly productivity, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels.
