The Counselor Education Program is nationally recognized and accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Clinical Assistant Professor position is face-to-face teaching in our Master’s and PhD-level counseling programs; additional responsibilities may include student advisement and assistance with facilitation of students’ fieldwork experiences, among other duties.

QualificationsQualifications: Candidates with experience teaching in a CACREP-accredited program who hold licensure as a professional counselor (preferably in PA) and/or are certified as a school counselor (preferably in PA), have experience (ideally 3+ years) as a professional counselor and/or as a school counselor, have a strong professional identity as a counselor, and have an earned doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program by the start of the appointment are strongly preferred (ABD applications will be considered).
