Manager, Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics

Manager, Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics, PwC US Consulting LLP, San Jose, CA. Assist clients in developing analytics and technology solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict risk. Gather risk related data to analyze, measure and document exposure to potential risks. Evaluate business processes, compliance, and risk issues, including the use of data and technology to provide greater coverage, targeted precision, and insight. Help organizations use their data to analyze risks, make better decisions and get faster results through the use of analytics, strategy, and data governance. Develop and implement risk assessment models by using data strategies, analytical modelling, and dashboard development. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $178,000-$206,000/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelors, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Leveraging data manipulation and analysis technologies utilizing at least one of the following: Alteryx, Hadoop, MongoDB, Cloud Services, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle;
• Conducting multiphase data analysis related to the evaluation of compliance, finance, and risk issues;
• Drafting model development documents for analytical methodologies within risk frameworks; and
• Leveraging one or more of the following data visualization tools: Tableau, Qlikview, or Microsoft PowerBI.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel requirement: Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
