| Location: Albany, NY Category: Professional Posted On: Wed Nov 19 2025 Job Description: Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks individuals with the skills and desire to work in a dynamic and complex hybrid on-premises/cloud environment as an Identity and Access Management Specialist (IAM Specialist). This position is part of the group responsible for helping protect the university's systems, network and data by supporting critical services for account provisioning, deprovisioning, authentication and authorization. This is a two-year temporary position. The IAM Specialist collaborates with people and groups across the university, including other ITS service teams and key campus offices (Human Resources, Registrar, Financial Aid). They are expected to handle a wide variety of activities ranging from basic day-to-day support activities to participating in complex, long-range projects. The successful candidate is highly organized, attentive to detail, and adept at working independently or as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities:

Additional Information: Professional Rank and Salary Range: Lead Programmer/Analyst, SL-3, $70,000 - $75,000 Special Notes: This position is classified as temporary, with the appointment period being for two years.
