Primary Care Physician

The Huntsville VA Primary Clinic is seeking dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physicians to join our team. We have two positions available, offering an extraordinary opportunity to contribute to veteran healthcare.

Position Details:

• Title: Primary Care Physician
• Location: Huntsville VA Primary Clinic
• Staff Composition: 12 Physicians and 5 Nurse Practitioners
• Salary Range: $240,000 to $300,000
• Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Offered

Qualifications:

• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
• Experience: Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Attributes: Accountability, dependability, and commitment to excellence

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient Load: Each physician will typically see 10-12 patients per day
• Schedule: The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM, with patients scheduled from 7 AM to 4:30 PM
• Flexibility: Offers a compressed tour of duty and telework options available one day per week
• Environment: Foster a ONE TEAM ONE MISSION practice environment with a strong focus on family first
