Job Summary The Continuing Care Coordinator will be responsible for analyzing various New York State long-term care trends and policy issues to support GNYHA’s advocacy on behalf of its continuing care members. In addition, the Coordinator will support staff working on GNYHA’s Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Independent Provider Association (IPA) that will create a clinically integrated network of not-for-profit SNFs in downstate New York. GNYHA is a strong advocate and is committed to rigorous analysis in developing our positions on Federal, state, and local policy issues. Reporting to the Vice President, Health Economics and Finance, State Policy, the Coordinator will work with colleagues across GNYHA to support coordination on issues impacting GNYHA continuing care members. The Coordinator will shape and support our policy positions on emerging State and Federal issues, develop and coordinate member meeting materials, and create member-facing resources to communicate our positions to members. This role requires strong analytical, project management, and communication skills to effectively manage, summarize, and convey GNYHA messaging to members and other key stakeholders. Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 The salary listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement. Work Schedule: A hybrid model with the expectation to work physically in our office Tuesdays and Wednesdays as mandatory in-office days with a third in-office day at your discretion, in coordination with your supervisor and in accordance with the business needs of your department.
