Barnes-Jewish Hospital's staff is composed of full-time academic faculty and community physicians of Washington University School of Medicine, supported by a house staff of residents, interns, fellows and other medical professionals. Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Neurodiagnostic Lab compliments Barnes-Jewish Hospital's Neuroscience division. Our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a Level IV Epilepsy Center, utilizing state of the art video monitoring equipment with a dedicated staff of Neurologists and Neurodiagnostic technologists. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides continuous observation by video surveillance of assigned patients (including high-risk patients). Verbally redirects patients from engaging in at risk behaviors and summons the Clinical Team if the patients requires assistance, or if in any imminent danger to self or others. Serves as a Patient Safety Companion remotely observing and assisting with keeping patients safe.
