Cadet/Dorm Life Supervisor - Security Officer

| The Cadet Life Supervisor (CLS) is responsible for the direct supervision, safety, character development, and daily accountability of cadets in a structured boarding school environment. This position serves as a foundational component of the Character and Leadership Development Program (CLDP) and plays a critical role in advancing the Academy’s mission. The CLS upholds the standards of the Cadet Manual, the Employee Handbook, and all institutional policies. The primary responsibility of a CLS is to maintain safety and security for cadets. When the assigned hall is occupied, the CLS functions as the primary residential supervisor. When the hall is not occupied, the CLS operates as a CLS/School Security Officer and conducts campus patrols, gate operations, emergency response, and general safety duties as outlined in the Security Post Orders. The CLS reports directly to the Director of Student Life & Security and operationally to the Commandant’s Office. Although the CLS collaborates closely with Student Services, the Director of Student Life and the Commandant retain final authority for all supervisory, disciplinary, and operational decisions.
