Are you a physician eager to expand your influence beyond clinical practice? The ACGME-accredited HALM Fellowship at TidalHealth offers specialized training for physicians who aspire to lead hospitals, health systems, and care delivery organizations.

As one of only a few ACGME-accredited HALM programs nationwide, we offer a unique pathway into executive-level healthcare leadership.

What Makes HALM Unique?

The HALM Fellowship prepares physicians for impactful leadership roles by combining clinical experience with comprehensive administrative training. Fellows receive:

  • Advanced Leadership Development
    • Strengthen decision-making, strategy, change leadership, and operational management.
  • Executive Mentorship
    • Work directly with senior healthcare leaders and gain insight into systemwide initiatives.
  • Hands-On Administrative Training
    • Engage in rotations focused on operations, quality and safety, finance, population health, and strategic leadership.
  • Influence a Growing Program
    • Early cohorts enjoy personalized mentorship and the opportunity to help shape the program’s future.

Who Can Apply?

Eligibility Requirements

Residency Completion

Applicants must have completed one of the following:

  • ACGME-accredited residency program
  • AOA-approved residency program
  • ACGME-International Advanced Specialty Accreditation program
  • RCPSC- or CFPC-accredited residency in Canada

Master’s Degree Requirement

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in:

  • Business Administration
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Or a related field (subject to Program Director approval)

Relevant master’s education may reduce fellowship length to 12 months (pending PD/DIO approval).
