HR Assistant - Part Time

HWIS is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join the school on a part-time basis (20-25 hrs./wk.).

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Handles all employment verification letters, job postings, resume reviews, form collection, etc.
• Collects and files Employee new hire forms; creating employee files
• Sending and collecting benefits onboarding paperwork
• Oversees licensing documents
• Serves as point of contact for benefits administration
• Tracks PTO for NY campus
• Serves as a resource for staff with general questions/issues
• Processes visa paperwork
• Ensures records maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and school policies.
• Performs related duties or projects as assigned by supervisor.
