The Blinn College District is searching for a PT Instructor - Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence at multiple campus locations.

Job Summary
Blinn College seeks qualified part-time faculty to teach courses in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence (including AI applications in Business). The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction, maintain academic standards, and support student success in accordance with college policies and procedures.
Principal Accountabilities - Teach assigned courses following approved curriculum and course objectives.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, labs, and instructional materials in a clear and engaging manner.
- Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and projects; provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and comply with institutional policies and accreditation requirements.
- Stay current with developments in IT, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and AI technologies and integrate emerging trends into instruction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications
Candidates must meet Blinn College faculty credentialing requirements for Workforce Education (WECM) courses: - Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Network Security, Computer-Based Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence (including AI in Business)
OR - Bachelor's degree in one of the above fields
OR - Associate degree in one of the above fields
AND - Minimum of three years of non-teaching work experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or AI
OR - Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, Certified Ethical Hacker, AI/ML certifications)
Minimum Competencies Strong technical expertise, communication, motivational skills, and ability to use educational technology.
Preferred Qualifications - Teaching experience at the college or professional level
- Additional certifications in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or Artificial Intelligence (including AI in Business applications)
