| The Full-time Psychology Instructor will teach Psychology courses to a diverse student population. The candidate will participate in faculty committees and perform other duties related to teaching at a community college. The Full-time Psychology Instructor must stay abreast of ongoing developments, trends, and issues in instruction in the community college environment. The responsibilities and duties of the Full-time Psychology Instructor may change as the needs of the college arise.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean.

Required Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Psychology or closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology. The candidate will have excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as basic computer literacy. Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values of compassion, equity, accountability, innovation and excellence. Preferred Qualifications Post Master’s level work in Psychology. Academic preparation and teaching experience in all levels of Psychology. Experience working with culturally diverse students. Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning including online teaching. |
