FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Biological Sciences department at Bronx Community College (BCC) seeks experienced adjunct instructors to teach Microbiology (BIO 28) for the Spring 2026 semester (1/26/2026 to 5/26/2026). Availability on Thursday mornings is required for the currently open position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Lecturer: Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related discipline, and the ability to teach successfully to a diverse student body in an urban environment. Master?s degree preferred.

Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in biology or a closely related discipline, and the ability to teach successfully to a diverse student body in an urban environment

COMPENSATION

Adjunct Lecturer: $112.50 per hour

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $120.83 per hour
