The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of clinical experience and1-2 years leadership experience in an acute care setting. Experience in nursing leadership, human resources practices including recruitment, selection, placement, counseling, training, and career development. Requires skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making. Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking and conflict resolution. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with medical, clinical staff, institute stakeholders and research participants. BSN/MSN or MS in a related field preferred. Specialty certification from a nationally recognized nursing organization in either a clinical specialty or Nursing Administration preferred. Applicants must have an unrestricted license in a State, territory of the U.S., the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
