| Assistant Vice President for Human Resources POSITION DETAILS Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration(SVPFA), the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources (AVPHR) serves as the chief human resources officer for all staff and faculty at Brooklyn College. The AVPHR is responsible for directing the strategic planning and management of the College?s human resources? programs in accordance with policies, procedures and practices of the College and University and in compliance with all applicable laws and legal mandates. The Assistant Vice President will lead the development and implementation of forward-thinking HR practices that enhance service delivery, improve operational efficiency, and promote a culture of continuous improvement; bring deep experience in business process mapping and redesign to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and align HR operations with institutional goals. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to talent management, workforce planning, benefits management, training and professional development, employee and labor relations, time and leave administration, performance management, employee recognition programs, compensation and payroll processes, and compliance. QUALIFICATIONS This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience. Other Qualifications :
CUNY TITLE Assistant Vice President COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS $160,000 - $180,000; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
