| Under the direction of the Division Manager, the Financial Services Analyst 3 provides professional financial and operational support to the Division of Prevention Science, a moderately sized research-focused division. The Analyst plays a key role in supporting the division's research, administrative, and operational activities, applying campus policies, financial principles, and best practices to resolve a wide range of moderately complex issues requiring sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and a high degree of independence. Responsibilities include managing a variety of sponsored and divisional projects and supporting their post-award activities; resolving complex purchasing and reimbursement issues; and ensuring compliance with university policies and external sponsor requirements. The Analyst will also support administrative functions such as stipend/honoraria submission, petty cash and check handling, equipment inventory management, and special projects as assigned. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $154,600 (Annual Rate).
