Position SummaryIf you are a dynamic and experienced RN with a passion for leadership and a commitment to excellence in the pre-hospital setting, please consider an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as the Manager of EMS and Base Hospital Programs. This role will be responsible for the overall management of the base hospital program and EMS care coordination across all Phoenix Children’s Emergency Departments. Key responsibilities include: promoting and maintaining strong relationships with our EMS community partners as well as organizational stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and regulatory standards, and supervising and coordinating activities of site base hospital coordinators to promote the delivery of quality pre-hospital care to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication and relationship development skills, financial and business acumen, and ability to lead teams in a dynamic environment. This position is responsible for the management and organization of the Base Hospital Program and EMS services at Phoenix Children`s. The Manager, EMS and Base Hospital Program promotes the delivery of quality pre-hospital care through clinical practice, consultation, education, collaboration, leadership and research. Assumes accountability for coordinating the functions within the EMS and Base Hospital Program which includes: program planning and development, clinical practice/system coordination, developing and managing the operational budget, supervising personnel working within the department, providing feedback for those functioning as EMS responders, overseeing the quality and performance improvement activities, and providing education to the multidisciplinary personnel involved in pre-hospital care both within Phoenix Children’s and other outside EMS agencies while maintaining compliance with all state guidelines.
