Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, teaching history to various grade levels while tailoring lesson plans to individual students or classes, and setting homework and assessments. This position will require an individual who is able to handle a wide range of responsibilities, including administrative tasks. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Education / Certification: A Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field is required, though a Master’s degree is strongly preferred. Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years of classroom experience is required, with a preference for those who have taught AP European History, AP US History, and/or AP World History. Teachers with experience in International Baccalaureate teaching are also preferred. Classical Orientation: Preference is given to candidates with experience or training in Classical education, including the Socratic Method or Harkness Method.
