Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:

• Provides administrative and financial support at two different locations –FIC Bridgeton and Mass Spectrometry Lab (SEBS Campus) and assists with Eco Complex location as requested by senior management.
• Handles cash and credit transactions, financial data recording, journal reconciliation, facility events, payroll and inventory.
• Manages the Center's purchases and accounting system using appropriate University procedures.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience and a minimum of two years' relevant experience in administrative function, good communication skills, and computer literacy.

Equipment Utilized:

• University software and systems are a vital part of performing tasks with thin this position. The applicant must keep abreast of ever-changing policies and procedures.

• Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• MarketPlace, Oracle, Expense Management, HCM, I-9, Paymentworks, Nelnet/Ancor
• Adobe Acrobat.
• Office phone, computer, printer, fax, scanner machines, POS credit card.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Receives mail packages and deliveries of merchandise.
• Performs receptionist duties.
• Fast-paced, service-focused environment requiring the ability to multitask several projects and priorities at the same time – across several departments.

Salary: Benchmark Salary Range - $52,602.48- $57,863
