| Student Worker - Esports Streamer and/or Caster
The Blinn College District is searching for a Student Worker - Esports Streamer and/or Caster at our Brenham Campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below:
Job Summary
To assist the Dean's office and Esports program with office duties.
Principal Accountabilities - Assist with daily operations of Dean's office and Esports Arena.
- Assist with maintaining organization of Esports Arena.
- Assist with filing, making copies, and processing of paperwork.
- Keep track of supplies.
- Assist with computer applications.
- Observe appropriate dress codes.
- Possess and demonstrates excellent telephone etiquette and provides superior customer service.
- Assist the department with student, staff/faculty, and community events.
- Report damage or theft to the supervisor immediately.
- Serve as a communication liaison between students and Esports staff.
- Maintain acceptable work standards.
- Effectively address questions or problems presented, or make appropriate referral.
- Respect confidentiality.
- Be friendly, cooperative, and appreciative to other personnel.
- Act professionally and as a Esports representative.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications
* Must be federal work study eligible.
* Must be at least a half time student.
Minimum Competencies
* Must be willing to learn and train effectively and efficiently within a team oriented
environment. - Customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications Esports program student, Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology majors
Preferred Competencies Special Notes To Applicants
10 to 19 hours per week, depending on work-study approval. Day or/and night, flexible Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 lbs. Must have a great attitude and willing to be flexible with hours of operation. No current or pending disciplinary sanctions.
