Assistant Professor/Program Director - Dental Hygiene

| We are seeking an Assistant Professor/Program Director of Dental Hygiene who is ready to lead, teach, and shape a high-quality, CODA-accredited program that prepares students for licensure and meaningful careers in dental hygiene. This role blends academic leadership with hands-on teaching and clinical oversight, offering the opportunity to guide both the direction of the program and the success of its students. As Program Director, you will provide vision and accountability for program quality, accreditation compliance, curriculum alignment, and workforce relevance, while serving as the primary connection between the college, accrediting bodies, advisory committees, students, and community and clinical partners. You will oversee the on-campus dental hygiene clinic and associated laboratories, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant learning environments, and coordinate clinical education experiences that meet accreditation and regulatory standards. The role includes managing curriculum review, student learning outcomes, licensure results, advisory committee engagement, budgeting support, faculty coordination, and accreditation reporting, including preparation for self-studies and site visits. Teaching responsibilities are assigned in balance with administrative leadership and may include classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction, using a range of instructional methods and technologies. Minimum Qualifications Required License and/or Certifications: North Idaho College does not have a vaccine requirement. However, many of our nursing and health professions, are subject to federal or local hospital vaccine requirements.
