Job Posting Title: Integration and Applications Engineer Job Description: Integration and Applications Engineer Core Technology Systems Computing and Information Services POSITION SUMMARY The Integrations and Applications Engineer (Engineer) works closely with the Data and Integrations Developer to ensure coordinated delivery of services to the HMC community. The Integration and Applications Engineer will assist in the development and maintenance of integration of data between hosted, cloud, and on-premise systems and applications. They will also develop and maintain functionality within the HMC portal, provided via the Pathify platform. The Engineer will support the Data and Integrations Developer to manage and support software (eg. Anthology, Pathify, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID) and integration services between various systems. The Engineer manages and maintains integrations built on iPaaS (integration platform as a service), currently Boomi, as well as developing and maintaining new integrations using Microsoft Integration Services, Microsoft Power/Web Apps and Pathify Flow. The Engineer will assist with daily operations, supporting existing software and data services and fostering continued integration and automation. The Engineer will play a key role for HMC in the launch of the Anthology Student Information System (SIS) along with ongoing support for the SIS and connected systems. Remote Work Eligibility: Category C: All staff positions, regardless of remote work eligibility, require an initial 30-calendar-day on-campus work period. Based on an evaluation by the Area Leadership Group (supervisor, area leader and area Cabinet member) and HR, this position is classified as Category C as defined in the College's Remote Work Policy, with occasional ad-hoc remote work flexibility as needed. Upon approval by the Area Leadership Group and HR, this position may work up to 2 remote work days per week during the academic year and up to 3 remote work days per week during the non-academic year. Please note these days may vary depending on departmental and College needs. Additionally, remote work is subject to the College's remote work policy. The College reserves the right to revoke or modify a remote work arrangement for any staff, at any time and for any reason as articulated in the College's remote work policy. Standard working hours for this position will generally be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, though these hours may vary depending on departmental and College needs. All remote work arrangements, including ad-hoc remote work, must be approved by the direct supervisor, area Cabinet member and Human Resources, and are subject to periodic review based on institutional needs. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the staff member is regularly required to sit; stand, use hands and fingers and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The individual must regularly lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Salary: $85k-92k/year Hours: Regular hours are Monday, through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (including a one-hour meal period). Hours may vary due to the needs of the College or department.
