| Another Source’s client, Harvey Mudd College, is recruiting a Plant Engineer and Director of Maintenance to join its Facilities and Maintenance team in Claremont, California. About Harvey Mudd College Harvey Mudd College is a highly selective undergraduate STEM institution and a member of The Claremont Colleges consortium. The College is known for its rigorous academic programs, collaborative culture, and commitment to preparing students to solve complex real-world problems through science, engineering, and mathematics. Position Summary The Plant Engineer and Director of Maintenance (PEDM) is responsible for the leadership, planning, and oversight of the College’s plant operations, including the Central Plant and all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. This role manages maintenance staff, building mechanics, general maintenance technicians, and external contractors, ensuring safe, compliant, reliable, and sustainable operations across campus. The PEDM partners closely with Facilities leadership, Finance, Sustainability, and regulatory agencies to maintain infrastructure performance, manage renewal and replacement programs, and support capital and renovation projects.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
