SUMMARY The Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC), part of SUNY Brockport, is accepting applications for a Health Care Lecturer. Reporting to the Practical Nursing Program Coordinator, the Health Care Lecturer has the responsibility of teaching twenty contact hours per week, which includes classroom, lab, and clinical instruction. Other key job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: reviewing and planning course content and course information sheets; curriculum planning and review; lesson planning; evaluating and guiding student's learning experiences; participating in the selection of textbooks, course materials, and computer software; reporting job and college placements; engaging in academic advisement; attending REOC staff and Healthcare department meetings; participating in ongoing professional development; keeping four office hours per week; and serving on a minimum of two center-wide committees. This is a full-time, 12 month, non-tenure track position. JOB FUNCTIONS Essential Functions:
