Overview Reporting to the YCC Director for Quality and Education, the position is responsible for the evaluation, development and implementation of YCC Clinical Trials Office (CTO) related technology and data projects. This position will collaborate with system and application administrators across the University and Health system in support of the YCC CTO on departmental technology initiatives, process improvement, education, and communication efforts. The purpose of the Technology Project Manager is to lead multiple information technology (infrastructure and application) projects (projects may vary in number, size and complexity) from initiation to delivery and benefits realization with limited guidance. Accountable for providing project management leadership by developing detailed project plans through planning and managing all implementation processes including progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints while integrating vendor tasks, tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables (if applicable) into the plan. Monitors dependencies across projects (vendor tasks and tracking) and responsible for providing analysis, forecasting, and modeling, to align resource requirements within the projects. The Technology Project Manager is expected to become the subject matter expert for a variety of applications and platforms that support the YCC mission(s) and the respective business intelligence needs. The Technology PM manages a staff of exempt and non-exempt employees. Will manage and monitor technology needs and system requirements and provide recommendations to leadership. Required Skills and Abilities 1.Professionalism, maturity, good judgment, and ability to work with confidential material. 2.Creative, self-directed, and a self-starter with the ability to work, plan, research, and conduct projects with minimal supervision and on a flexible schedule. 3.Previous management experience of a team. Organized, capable of handling multiple/diverse tasks and projects simultaneously. 4.Superior interpersonal, oral and written communications and, the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of external and internal stakeholders. Preferred Education and Experience: 1.Project management experience, which includes working in a client or patient focused environment. 2.Experience in an oncology healthcare setting. 3. Experience working with the Epic, Clinical Trial Management Systems, Electronic Data Capture systems, and business analytics systems. 4. Prior experience integrating data from multiple sources to create dashboards and other visuals to inform decision-making. Principal Responsibilities 1. Define product vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs. 2. Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features based on user needs and strategic goals. 3. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create detailed product specifications. 4. Work closely with internal constituents to ensure timely product delivery. 5. Continuously evaluate product performance and implement improvements as needed.Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field and four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
