Highlights

• Our pediatric pulmonary program continues to grow. We have 3 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners caring for patients at our main campus in Park Ridge and at satellite clinics
• Full time role with inpatient rounding divided equally among physicians plus additional 20 hours per week of outpatient clinic
• Responsibilities include daily rounds on inpatient pulmonary consult only service (1:4 call schedule), outpatient clinics, pulmonary function test interpretation, program development, medical education
• ACH-Park Ridge features a 46-bed inpatient unit, 10-bed pediatric observation unit, 19-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, 54-bed level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a 12 bed Pediatric Emergency Room with Level 1 Pediatric Trauma designation
• Pediatric residency program and fellows in PICU and Hospital Medicine
• Accredited CF center and established multidisciplinary neuromuscular disease clinic
• Opportunities to grow programs in Pulmonary Function testing, Bronchoscopy, Aerodigestive care, Technology dependency, Pulmonary Hypertension, Severe Asthma
• Close working relationship with Pediatric sleep medicine team with on-site sleep studies
• Full complement of pediatric subspecialists
• Dedicated pediatric pulmonary support staff of RNs, CMAs, RTs
• Additional support from Pediatric Dieticians, Social Workers, Case Management and Developmental Therapists
