The McKelvey School of Engineering is well positioned to advance the campaignâ™s promise by leveraging its strengths as a leader in providing scientific insights and enabling technologies critical to solving fundamental research challenges and in preparing students for the rapidly changing world of tomorrow. The Stewardship Officer will report to the Executive Director for Advancement, McKelvey School of Engineering and will serve as a subject matter expert on stewardship activities for the school. They will work with leadership to acknowledge donors and coordinate studentsâ™ engagement with University Advancement. The Officer will collaborate with Donor Relations to ensure McKelvey donors receive comprehensive scholarship and impact reporting. The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring long-term donor satisfaction and maximizing the impact of donor support. This role requires strong relationship, analytical, and communication skills and a deep understanding of donor engagement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful collaborations with colleagues across departments, divisions, or Schools. Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities: Curate Gift Acknowledgements from Deans and Leaders Craft and curate gift acknowledgements from Deans and Unit Leaders:
Manage McKelvey School of Engineering Stewardship Activities Act as a subject matter expert on stewardship for the School and ensure McKelvey donors are recognized for their giving.
Coordinate McKelvey student engagement with Advancement teams through:
Ensure Fund Impact Reporting and Scholarship Stewardship In partnership with Donor Relations, ensure WashU donors receive fund impact reporting and comprehensive scholarship stewardship. Manage named graduate and undergraduate scholarship matching and stewardship, in collaboration with Donor Relations:
Produce or support impact reports on McKelvey funds:
Support Fund Administration Under guidance from the Executive Director of Advancement for McKelvey, support fund administration, and management for the School by:
Support Team Operations
