The Blinn College District is searching for a Student Worker - Advising at our Bryan Campus.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below:

Job Summary

To assist the the advising office with basic office duties.

Principal Accountabilities

• Check students in to see an academic advisor.
• Assist students with registering for classes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications

• Must be federal work study eligible (see financial aid for more details).
• Must be enrolled at least half time student at Blinn College.
  

Minimum Competencies

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to treat students, parents, faculty, and staff in a courteous manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an office setting.

• Customer service experience.

Special Notes To Applicants

This position will begin in the spring and can continue to summer and fall. Student must be enrolled at least half time to be eligible for work study.
