The firm has an extensive footprint of offices throughout the region. Melick & Porter is seeking an IT Manager to support their organization-wide operations, based out of their Boston, MA office. This is an in-office leadership role providing service to the firm’s attorneys and staff, and reports to the Executive Director. Position SummaryThe IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing technical and administrative IT functions, infrastructure, cloud and on-premises systems, licensing, information security, networking, the end user customer experience, and managing (1) Level 1 direct report. Leadership, accountability, and mentorship are key requirements of this position. The IT Manager will coordinate with external third-party vendors within managed services or project-based coverage areas or needs. The individual in this position must be hands-on highly technical and able to lead based on practical experience and a history of demonstrable technical aptitude achieved at prior employers. This position is for someone who has led IT service delivery within an organization before, and understands ticketing, problem & incident management, change control, and the pillars of an ITSM/ITIL model. This position will also require excellent documentation and customer service capabilities, with a commitment to timelines and delivering repeatable excellence each day.
