Previous experience with Title IX administration—including investigating, adjudicating, or resolving allegations of discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct—is preferred, as is experience supporting or coordinating institutional compliance efforts. An understanding of the residential college environment and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across campus are required. Licenses or Certifications: Title IX investigator or coordinator certification desired. Position Summary: The Title IX & Student Accessibility Coordinator supports and advances student-centered compliance efforts related to Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 504. The coordinator divides responsibilities between Title IX response and prevention education, while providing leadership for the College's disability-related compliance efforts. Serving as the College's designated Section 504 Coordinator for students, the position oversees institutional compliance with ADA and Section 504 requirements, including the management of disability-related complaints, coordination of related processes, and administration of student grievance procedures. The role also provides leadership and functional oversight of Deputy Title IX Coordinators across the institution, ensuring alignment in practices, consistency in response, and effective execution of Title IX-related responsibilities, while Deputies maintain primary reporting lines within their respective departments. This position provides direct support to students by offering guidance on their rights, available resources, and resolution options, and by facilitating supportive measures and reasonable accommodations. It ensures the timely, fair resolution of student complaints involving sex- and gender-based misconduct and disability discrimination. The position also leads campus-wide prevention education and accessibility awareness initiatives, partnering with student-facing departments to strengthen a culture of equity, inclusion, and compliance. Strong relationship-building skills, clear communication, and sound judgment are essential to success in this role.
