Assistant Softball Coach

What We’re Looking For

• Collegiate playing or coaching experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of softball techniques, strategy, and skill development.
• Maintain team statistics and complete statistical entries via NJCAA requirements as requested by Head Coach.
• Ability to teach, motivate, and care for student-athletes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) NJCAA Division I rules.
• Ability to evaluate talent and recruit student-athletes who will succeed academically and athletically.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and pass a motor-vehicle check.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
• Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification per NJCAA requirements.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements

• Combination of office work and outdoor practice/field responsibilities.
• Ability to demonstrate softball skills, which may involve physical exertion.
• Exposure to outdoor weather, field conditions, and minor environmental hazards.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.
