This role provides critical administrative and clinical leadership, overseeing program quality, staff development, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based patient care. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery with a minimum of five years of clinical experience and a proven track record in quality improvement or program leadership. Clinically, this surgeon will provide comprehensive care across the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery--including preoperative evaluation, operative management, and postoperative critical care--while utilizing advanced techniques such as minimally invasive, endovascular, and mechanical circulatory support. Administratively, the Director will lead quality assurance activities, monitor clinical outcomes using STS data, and serve as a vital liaison between surgery, cardiology, and hospital administration. The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $658,658 - $1,112,208. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
