![]() Editor & Senior Writer Marketing & Communication Description Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a talented and experienced Editor & Senior Writer to join the Marketing & Communications team on a full-time basis. This is a senior editorial role responsible for leading content strategy and execution across the College's primary owned channels, most notably Gustavus.edu and Gustavus Magazine. The successful candidate will bring a journalist's instinct for storytelling, a marketer's understanding of brand and audience, and a web editor's fluency with digital content management. This role is central to advancing the College's goals in student enrollment, alumni and donor engagement, and community visibility. Employment Status: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Exempt (Salaried), and Benefits-Eligible Salary Range: $65,000-$90,000 annually JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, the Editor & Senior Writer serves as the editorial lead for Gustavus.edu and The Gustavus Quarterly magazine. This individual will generate compelling, on-brand content that reflects campus life, academic achievement, and the broader Gustavus story. Working collaboratively across the Marketing and Communications team, this role ensures editorial output is aligned with institutional priorities and integrated across all media channels.
