JOB SUMMARY This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job. As a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the clinical pharmacist provides consistent clinical, consultative, research, and/or administrative pharmaceutical services for critical care, oncology/hematology, other advanced practice areas or participate as part of the rounding team for acute care areas. Clinical Pharmacists II select, compound, dispense, drugs, medicines, and other therapeutic agents; may serve as members and consultants on treatment or diagnostic teams; consult with nursing staff and physicians regarding medication orders; disseminate drug information to members of the hospital staff and interested community groups; may participate in hospital research projects or perform pharmaceutical research; provide recommendations to Clinical Research Pharmacists and Pharmacy management regarding new drug requests and non-formulary applications. The position is a rotating role with a focus on pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant services. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a team of dedicated Heme/Onc/SCT pharmacists working alongside a multidisciplinary cancer care team and providing the full range of clinical and consultative pharmaceutical services. Prior experience in oncology or oncology focused residency preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
License/Certification:
KNOWLEDGE These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education or licensure/certification.
*Knowledge of Medical terminology and abbreviations; pharmacology and pharmacological nomenclature; medical therapeutics, pharmacokinetics, and disease states.
