| Unemployment Insurance Hearing Representative POSITION DETAILS University Human Resources (UHR) of The City University of New York (CUNY) delivers comprehensive human resources programs and services to the 26 colleges and professional schools that comprise the University. Within UHR, over 100 staff members oversee the University's Benefits, Payroll, and unemployment insurance functions and services covering approximately 40,000 full-time and part-time employees. The Unemployment Insurance Unit seeks an experienced Unemployment Insurance Hearing Representative to help administer the University?s unemployment insurance program. Reporting to the Deputy Director of the Unemployment Insurance Unit, the Hearing Representative will represent the University at Administrative Law Judge hearings, present evidence, conduct cross examinations, and give closing statements. Additionally, the Hearing Representative will prepare unemployment insurance cases, gather documents and evidence, research facts and laws, and interview potential witnesses. CUNY TITLE Higher Education Assistant FLSA Exempt COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The salary range is $76,937 - $90,838 , commensurate with credentials, education, and experience. CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
