Essential Job Duties Electrical Services - Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems
- Support the installation and replacement of electrical panels, including proper wiring, labeling, and testing on member homes and commercial sites
- Aid in the installation and commissioning of battery storage systems and associated components
- Perform equipment mounting, conduit installation, wire/communications pulling, and system setup according to code and project specifications
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures, cooperative standards, and applicable local/state electrical codes
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental needs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Basic understanding of electrical systems, electrical theory, tools, and safety procedures
- Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) related to residential and commercial installations
- Ability to work safely and follow established safety protocols and guidelines
- Ability to learn residential and commercial battery storage technologies and obtain required certifications
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams (preferred)
- Ability to use basic diagnostic and electrical testing tools such as multimeters and clamp meters
- Ability to work in varied environments including attics, rooftops, confined spaces, outdoor conditions, and commercial spaces
- Ability to apply electrical codes and interpret commercial electrical blueprints (developing skill).
- Ability to assist in training staff, contractors, or members (as skills progress)

Qualifications and Requirements Education: - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program (preferred).
Required Experience: - 1 to 4 Years of experience required
- Experience in designing and installing electrical systems
Preferred Experience: - Hands?on experience with battery storage systems and related components
- Experience supporting electrical service work, troubleshooting, or performing installation tasks in residential or commercial settings
- Familiarity with solar PV systems and integration with backup power systems
- Exposure to electrical panel upgrades, replacements, or service changes
- Experience installing lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, or transformers
Additional Requirements: - CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within one year of date of hire
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and Related Insurance
- Must pass background and drug screening and physical
