| Carle Health, in partnership with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, seeks an innovative, dynamic and collaborative physician leader with a strong clinical and academic foundation to serve as the next Department Head to lead the Department of Clinical Sciences, which currently includes Sections of Pediatrics, Pathology, Emergency Medicine, and Radiology. The Department Head serves as the principal administrative officer of the department and a key member of the Carle Illinois College of Medicine Dean’s senior leadership team. This leadership role will be a 30% effort and is critical to advancing the College’s mission of integrating engineering, technology, and innovation into medical education, research, and clinical practice. Reporting Relationship The Head, Department of Clinical Sciences will report directly to the Dean of Carle Illinois College of Medicine for all administrative duties with a dual reporting line to their clinical physician leader at Carle Health.
