NOTICE OF VACANCY Student Life Wellness and Recreational Services Coordinator Classification: MnSCU Academic Professional 2 Unlimited, Full-time 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday) *A flexible work schedule may be approved with up to two days remote work per week (if applicable) Salary Range: Hourly from $25.67 - 37.26; Annually from $53,599 to $77,799 *Salary placement is dependent on education and experience The vacancy is posted on-line from Friday, May 8, 2026 to Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM. THE POSITION AND THE DEPARTMENT This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive wellness, recreation, and intramural programming at Normandale. This position is responsible for administering and marketing an intramural and recreation program that includes open gym and various recreational activities. The staff member in this role will support assigned student clubs with event logistics and purchasing needs, serving as a key resource for students. This position manages and supervises the fitness and wellness facilities. They will coordinate additional Student Life activities related to wellness, recreation, and intramurals and manage appropriate budgets. This position will also assist with Student Life events and leadership programs to help create an engaging experience for a diverse student body. This position will actively advance the college's strategic goals, including achieving equity in educational outcomes and supporting a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture, through individual and departmental efforts.
