Inpatient Pharmacy Tech 3

Pharmacy Technician to join our experienced team. This role offers a hybrid opportunity, combining retail pharmacy support with inpatient sterile compounding responsibilities, making it an excellent fit for technicians looking to expand their skill set in a clinical environment.

Training & Location

Initial training will take place for 6-8 weeks at our Town and Country location

Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification required
• Pharmacy Technician License 
• 2 years Pharmacy Technician exprience 

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8?hour shifts
• 11:30am-8:00pm

Role Purpose

The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 3, under the direct supervision a of staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, provides cross coverage for multiple technician competencies or responsibilities within a focus area. This position serves as a department resource to answer questions and assists in resolving more complex issues. This position's responsibilities may include preparing medication orders, assisting in dispensing and transporting medications, conducting complex sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, inventory management, training, the use of various automated/electronic systems, and maintaining the required documentation & records.
