| Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions: The successful candidate must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of belonging, diversity, equity and inclusion in students, faculty and staff. Position Summary The Admissions Representative is responsible for promoting, recruiting and engaging prospective students within an assigned territory, with a focus of fostering relationships to help educate and guide them on a path to achieve their professional and educational goals here at Delta College. The representative will do this through proactive outreach and engagement activities with our secondary partners (high schools, ISD's and career centers), regional college fairs, campus engagement as well as targeted community-partnership events. The primary function is to conduct, as part of a high energy team, the various recruitment and admissions activities designed to attract and enroll students at the College. This role is pivotal in meeting territory and institutional enrollment goals through exceptional customer service to students, staff and external stakeholders. It is required that the incumbent will use and remain current on technology to extensively and proactively engage and recruit students. This position is part of the Welcome Center – Office of Admissions and reports to the Director of Admissions, Dual Enrollment and Secondary Partnerships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Give admissions presentations and campus tours.
Informing and onboarding students.
Manage recruitment territory.
Utilize technology effectively.
