| Job Description Minneapolis College, a vibrant and inclusive two-year community college in Minnesota, is accepting applications for an Unlimited, Full-Time Computer Systems Networking Instructor position within the School of Information Technology starting Fall 2026. Join a dedicated, student-centered team of five full-time and numerous part-time faculty in the School of Information Technology who are committed to providing a learning environment focused on inclusion, community, excellence, and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Educational Requirement: Associate degree in a computer or information technology field Occupational Experience Requirement: Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in networking, network administration, cybersecurity, or forensics.
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Preferred Qualification Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cyber Security, or comparable computer-related field. Certifications in A+, Network+, Security+, MCP , CASP , CISSP. Salary Full-time faculty salaries currently range from $43,067- $94,542 annually. Salary schedule placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2023- 2025 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty.
