| Institutional Research Director ( Director of Academic Assessment) - Office of Institutional Research Analysis POSITION DETAILS The CUNY School of Medicine (CUNY SoM) located in the heart of Harlem, New York, is the only medical school in the City University of New York system and the only public medical school in Manhattan. Building upon 50 years of success as the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, the institution transitioned to the CUNY School of Medicine (SoM) in 2016. The CUNY SoM offers an accelerated BS/MD degree (7-year program) and a Physician Assistant Master?s Degree (27 months program). True to its legacy of access, opportunity, and community transformation, the medical school?s mission remains to recruit highly talented students as diverse as New York City itself. CUNY SoM places a special emphasis on the recruitment of those who are underrepresented in the field of medicine and on training high quality, culturally competent health professionals and scientists equipped to address the healthcare needs of New York?s medically under-served communities. As a major priority, CUNY SoM also seeks to enhance the recruitment and retention of senior leadership, faculty, and staff to more closely reflect the diversity of our student body. The CUNY School of Medicine is seeking to recruit (1) Institutional Research Director (Director of Academic and Assessment) in the department of Institutional Research Analysis (Effectiveness and Assessment). The Director of Academic Assessment, reporting to the Associate Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment, is responsible for overseeing the ongoing development and implementation of assessment programs, projects, and activities across the CUNY School of Medicine. The Director of Academic Assessment will provide leadership and coordination for institution wide academic assessment processes, while supporting compliance with accreditation requirements. The Director collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and leadership to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, centered on robust and meaningful assessment of student learning, ensuring that assessment and accreditation activities are systematic, data-driven, and aligned with institutional objectives. The Director also provides information and analytic support to the school's administrative decision makers in order to facilitate strategic planning, re-accreditation, and institutional effectiveness. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree and eight years' relevant experience required. Preferred Qualifications:

CUNY TITLE Higher Education Officer FLSA Exempt COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Salary Range: $91,878 - $136,546 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
