| Green River College is seeking an adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach associate- and bachelor's-level accounting courses, including:
Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter-to-quarter based on student enrollment. They teach classes on the days and in the modalities assigned by the College. Accounting classes may be scheduled for weekday mornings, evenings, or online. You may view accounting course descriptions, class schedules, and the college catalog on the College website. This is not a remote position. Applicants must reside in Washington State. ABOUT THE COLLEGE: Green River College's student body is made up of approximately 41% Academic Transfer students, 34% Professional-Technical students, 15% Adult Basic Education student, and 3% Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses, including the main campus in Auburn, Washington, with satellite campuses in Kent, downtown Auburn, and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates, Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college), those seeking retraining for the workforce, international students, students learning English, and Continuing Education students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Degrees must be conferred by a regionally accredited college or university. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CPA license, CMA credential, master's degree in accounting or business administration, two year's work experience in accounting, current experience using Excel and QuickBooks Online, successful teaching experience at the college level. |
