The Opportunity We're seeking a collaborative and highly self-directed Instructional Designer & Curriculum Manager to lead our clinical curriculum redesign initiatives and support instructional design efforts within a life sciences-focused academic environment. This role sits at the intersection of instructional design, assessment strategy, and curriculum management. A key priority will be contributing to and helping manage complex curriculum initiatives, ensuring consistency in learner experience, assessment design, and instructional quality across programs. This position is slated to begin in October 2026, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a trust-based environment with autonomy, accountability, and strong cross-functional collaboration. About the Department The Educational Support Services unit (ESS) supports all aspects of the educational mission at the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) to prepare veterinarians and biomedical scientists to serve society in critical roles in clinical and diagnostic veterinary medicine, biomedical research, public health, and public policy. Our team is a dynamic group with skills in event and media production, software development, medical illustration and animation, instructional design, and classroom support. We collaborate within and beyond the team to provide support to faculty and staff in their continued pursuit of excellent teaching, produce world-class continuing education experiences via online courses, conferences, and hands-on laboratories, and create the tools to enable innovative evidence-based teaching and learning.
